Croll was the name, Storytelling was his game ….. so I’m told!

Your grandfather was a highly decorated war hero.  And so the story begins…….

I never met this man.  He died 2 years and 1 month before I was born. All I have ever heard were stories.  Some were tall tales, some were tearful remembrances.  All stories.  Some more facts that fiction, and some more fiction than facts.  So lets start with the facts.

These are the facts.  There are more facts to be shared, but I’ll just start off with the basic details of his life.  A timeline of sorts from birth to death.  Now will come all the details and stories of his life.  Not all in timeline order, but it is time to start to add color to his story.  I will start each entry with FACT or FICTION.  And then support the stories of his life.
